Accreditation Categories and Requirements

IABEE offers two categories of accreditation:

  1. General Accreditation, intended for programs that have implemented outcome-based education system and at the time of the evaluation process has produced graduates with the system, and
  2. Provisional Accreditation, intended for programs that have implemented outcome-based education system and at least the first year students have completed learning with the system.

For General Accreditation, the program must be A-accredited and the institution at least B-accredited from National Compulsory Accreditation Agency (BAN PT). For Provisional Accreditation, both the study program and the institution are at least B-accredited. The study program is given only one opportunity to apply for provisional accreditation, and there is no possibility to extend it.
